 📰 1. Child among three dead as rickshaw hits pothole, overturns and gets run over by lorry in Savar

At least three rickshaw passengers — including a child — died in a road accident in Ashulia, Savar, after their rickshaw hit a water‑filled pothole, overturned onto the highway, and was struck by a lorry. The accident occurred around 9:45 pm on Sunday in the Bypile area of the Nabinagar–Chandra Highway. One passenger died instantly when the lorry ran over them. Two others, including a woman and a child, succumbed to injuries at Gonoshasthya Kendra Hospital in Ashulia. Another person was injured and remains hospitalized. Police say the rickshaw was traveling the wrong way on the highway before overturning; the lorry driver and helper fled the scene, though the vehicle has been seized.

📰 2. Four killed in triangular crash involving motorcycles and CNG auto-rickshaw on Dhaka–Sylhet Highway in Brahmanbaria

Four people were killed on Sunday in a three‑vehicle collision involving two motorcycles and a CNG auto‑rickshaw on the Dhaka–Sylhet Highway in Rampur, Bijoynagar Upazila, Brahmanbaria. The collision happened in the Rampur area; all four victims died at the scene. Four additional individuals were taken to hospital with injuries. Police retrieved the bodies and sent them to the Sadar Hospital morgue. The identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed.

📰 3. In separate crashes across Shariatpur, Bogura and Gaibandha, four people killed

Late Saturday night and early Sunday, separate road accidents in Shariatpur, Bogura, and Gaibandha districts claimed four lives:

In Shariatpur, two motorcyclists were killed when a speeding bus crashed into their vehicles on a slope of Padma Bridge near the Zanjira end.

In Bogura, a 4‑year‑old girl named Tuba Khatun was fatally struck by a truck while crossing the Dhunat‑Sonahata road in Sarugram village; she later died at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.

In Gaibandha, an elderly man died following a head‑on collision between a CNG auto‑rickshaw and an easy bike on Gobindaganj‑Raza Virat Road; two passengers in the rickshaw were critically injured, one of whom later died.
